A new year is here and with it is a new chance to hit those reading goals. Whether you’re a dedicated bookworm or someone who is just trying to fit a few books into a busy schedule, you owe it to yourself to read some books by Filipino authors. From recent releases to some of 2023’s most anticipated Pinoy reads, these are the titles from the Philippines and the diaspora that should be on your radar.
This upper middle-grade story focuses on a pair of biracial Filipino cousins. When one of them is lost at sea, the other refuses to give up hope that she’ll make her way home.
